A colorectal cancer (CRC) prevention tool may already be in your medicine cabinet: A new study finds that taking an aspirin regularly may help reduce the risk of colorectal cancer, especially in people with less-than-healthy lifestyle habits. A large cohort study published August 1 in JAMA Oncology analyzed more than 30 years of data from more than 107,000 participants and found that people with unhealthy lifestyles had a greater reduction in colorectal cancer risk than those with healthy behaviors.
