NewtekOne agrees to sell technology division to Paltalk for a combination of cash and preferred stock (NEWT)
Paradise Kietirikulu NewTechOne (NASDAQ:NEWT) has agreed to sell NewTech Technology Solutions to Paltalk (NASDAQ:PALT) in line with its commitment to the Federal Reserve to divest or terminate NTS activities in connection with its acquisition of NewTech Bank and transition to a financial holding company, the company announced Monday. Paltalk (PALT) will pay $4 million in cash to NewtekOne (NEWT) and issue 4 million shares of a newly created series of non-voting preferred stock. A colorectal cancer (CRC) prevention tool may already be in your medicine cabinet: A new study finds that taking an aspirin regularly may help reduce the risk of colorectal cancer, especially in people with less-than-healthy lifestyle habits. A large cohort study published August 1 in JAMA Oncology analyzed more than 30 years of data from more than 107,000 participants and found that people with unhealthy lifestyles had a greater reduction in colorectal cancer risk than those with healthy behaviors.
