Barack Obama has released his summer playlist. As with previous ones, it is said to be an interesting mix of genres and eras. Introducing the songs in an X post, Obama wrote, “As summer draws to a close, I wanted to share some of the songs I've been listening to lately. It wouldn't be my playlist without a diverse mix. I hope you'll find something new!” Obama kicks off the list with Shaboozey's viral classic “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” which became popular on TikTok and sparked a line dance craze. His list also includes “365” by British pop star and summer trendsetter Charlie XCX. In addition to these new songs, Obama also included a fair few throwbacks from artists like Etta James, The Supremes, The Rolling Stones, and Bob Dylan. Generation Z favorites Billie Eilish, H.E.R., Saweetie, and Willow were also included. Last but not least, Beyonce's “Texas Hold 'Em” also made the list. In addition to music lovers, President Obama also appealed to book lovers by releasing his summer reading list.
