The Bears made a pair of trades on Friday and Saturday to revamp their defensive line personnel, and in the process, revamped their draft board.
General manager Ryan Pauls sent the team's sixth-round pick to the Seahawks on Friday in exchange for defensive end Darrell Taylor. A day later, Pauls sent the sixth-round pick he received from Miami in last year's trade for Chase Claypool to the Browns for defensive tackle Chris Williams and a seventh-round pick.

The Panthers' second-round pick is the final piece of the 2023 trade that sent the No. 1 overall pick to the Panthers. The Panthers sent their fourth-round pick to Buffalo and moved down to the fifth round of this year's draft to select Austin Booker. The Bears' seventh-round pick went to the Dolphins in the Claypool trade.
The Bears acquired a conditional sixth-round pick from the Steelers in exchange for Justin Fields, which could be converted into a fourth-round pick if Fields meets certain playing-time criteria this season.
