BOSTON & SINGAPORE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) today announced the appointment of Kiran Prakash as first line head of energy, construction and general real estate for Asia and the promotion of Jesse Yuen to head of energy for Asia. Jesse succeeds Ming Ong, who is relocating to London to serve as underwriting manager for BHSI's energy real estate division. Jess Oh will continue in her role as head of general real estate for Asia.

Kiran joined BHSI in 2015 as Vice President, Engineering and Construction Risk, Asia, a role he continues to hold. A mechanical engineer by training, Kiran has almost 20 years of experience in the insurance industry.
Jesse joined BHSI in 2019 as a Real Estate Energy Underwriter and brings over 20 years of experience in first party lines. In his new role, Jesse will oversee BHSI's Real Estate Energy business in Asia, delivering solutions to power, mining and oil & gas clients across the region.
