“The deployment of large police forces from the federal states and the federal police, as well as an early and consistent fight against (violence against members of the service – ed.) are considered appropriate measures against the perpetrators of violence and chaos,” he said. As reported by the dpa agency, on New Year’s Eve, 5 people were killed in the whole country as a result of shooting fireworks. At the same time, a large number of people were injured in Berlin, where fireworks damaged the facades of houses and broke windows.
