Two boys, 7 and 8 years old, were taken to the hospital after falling from a slope in Bezmiechova (Podkarpackie Voivodeship). The children on the rubber pontoons slipped down the hill, could not stand and fell down the slope above the road.
The incident happened on Sunday (January 19) before 15:00 at the glider field in Bezmiechova. “Preliminary diagnosis shows that 8- and 7-year-old children came from Sanok with their parents and were sliding down the mountain with a rubber pontoon. The boys could not control their speed and fell more than 4 meters above the bank. On the way, a woman witnessed the accident. was driving on the road with flying pits and he called for help,” said the police in Lesko.
Brothers in the hospital
The older brother was transported by helicopter to the hospital in Rzeszów in a serious condition. His 7-year-old brother, who suffered serious physical injuries, was also taken to the hospital for a detailed examination.
At the time of the accident, the boys’ parents, a 45-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman from Sanok, were awake. “The police, taking into account the provisions of Article 160 of the Criminal Code, that is, involuntarily exposing the persons under care to the risk of death or serious injury to health, will explain the circumstances of this incident.”

Police officers appeal to parents and guardians of children and teenagers to be careful and healthy while practicing winter sports and playing in the snow. “We remember that adults are responsible for the safety of minors!” – emphasized the officers in military uniform.
