Marvel Studios decided to officially release the new trailer for Agatha All Along only during this weekend's D23 event, and as expected, plenty of the footage has been leaked onto social media.
I thought the days of convention-exclusive sneak peeks were over for this very reason, but there's surely a reason for this apparent madness. Either way, now we have the second clip from Captain America: Brave New World , which shines the spotlight on President “Thunderbolt” Ross, played by Harrison Ford.
The footage shows him holding court at a celestial summit as nations around the world rush to claim resources from the remains of Tiamat in the Indian Ocean.
But now it seems like it's in the hands of the U.S., thanks to the new Captain America, Sam Wilson. By the way, what was the name of that previous metal? Adamantium, the indestructible material that covers Wolverine's skeleton in the comics.
“Brave New World is the perfect title for this movie,” Anthony Mackie said at Comic-Con last month. “It's a new beginning, it's the foundation on which Marvel will build their universe going forward. This character, and all the characters that surround him, are the new building blocks that we're going to use to move forward in the universe and into the future.”
Ford, who was a surprise addition to the MCU, added: “I saw other actors in the Marvel Universe – really good, well-respected actors – really having fun, and I said, 'I want to be that,' and so it happened.”
The video below also includes the clip first shared yesterday (which has now been removed), which shows the Commander in Chief talking to Sam about reuniting the Avengers.
