Marriott's 600th hotel in Asia Pacific: Marriott International has opened its 600th hotel in Asia Pacific excluding China with the opening of the Adelaide Marriott Hotel. The hotel will be Marriott International's first hotel in South Australia. Fronted by the 150-year-old landmark Adelaide General Post Office building, the 14-storey hotel features 285 rooms, including 12 suites, with skyline views. The hotel overlooks Victoria Square and is close to Adelaide Oval, Rundle Mall and Her Majesty's Theatre. The hotel features three restaurants, a fitness centre, an 18-metre indoor pool and meeting space. Marriott Hotels entered Asia Pacific in 1989 with the Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay. Currently, the brand operates more than 50 hotels in the region with approximately 40 more planned.

Hotel Indigo Adds Second Location in Indonesia: Hotel Indigo, the second largest brand in IHG Hotels & Resorts' luxury and lifestyle collection, has added Hotel Indigo Bandung Dago Pakkar as its second location in Indonesia. Located 700 meters above sea level, the hotel's design combines traditional Sundanese motifs with natural elements such as Bandung's traditional batik and folklore inspired by nearby Mount Tangkuban Perahu. The hotel offers 277 rooms, multiple restaurants, a rooftop infinity pool overlooking the Dago Pakkar hills, a kids club, nine meeting rooms and a grand ballroom. Hotel Indigo's portfolio consists of 154 hotels in 25 countries.
Planning permission granted for mixed-use hotel in London: PPHE Hotel Group, an international hospitality real estate group, has received planning permission for a hotel-led mixed-use project in London. PPHE was proposing to build a 15-storey, design-led, mid-scale hotel in the South Bank area of central London. The hotel would include up to 186 rooms and two floors of office and light industrial space, with a public space on the ground floor featuring an all-day dining bar and café. With sustainability in mind, the former brownfield site will be converted into a building aiming for BREEAM 'Excellent' certification. This will be PPHE's fifth hotel in Waterloo. PPHE acquired the site in 2019 for £12 million. The company is currently working on the detailed design of the project.
