The video caught the attention of several social media users, who praised Bailey for her bravery, with one commenting: “Wow this is so amazing. I would never be this brave,” while another wrote: “I'm half her age and this makes my bones creak. She's amazing.”
“So brave. Amazing to achieve your dreams at that age,” responded a third user.
Ms Bailey told BBC Radio Suffolk that she urged people approaching 80 or 90 not to give up. “It was a bit scary, I had my eyes tightly closed, to be honest. I urge anyone approaching 80 or 90 not to give up on anything, just keep going. I'm very lucky to be in good health so I want to use that to my advantage, that's what's really important,” she said.
Bailey, from the village of Benhall Green in eastern England, will mark his 100th birthday in 2022 by driving a Ferrari around the Silverstone Motor Race Circuit at 210 kilometres per hour, the BBC reported.
