Two other incidents of this type have occurred recently. In mid-November, the Baltic communication cable connecting Helsinki and Rostock was damaged.
On the same day, Telia's technical director Andrius Šemeshkevicius announced that communication cables between Lithuania and Sweden were also damaged.
