The 2024 college football season officially kicks off on Saturday at 11 a.m. CST on ESPN when Florida State and Georgia Tech face off in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.
Fans can also tune in to Montana State vs. New Mexico on FS1 at 3 p.m. and SMU vs. Nevada on CBSSN at 7 p.m. Delaware State will also take on the University of Hawaii at 11 p.m.
No Big Ten teams are playing this weekend, but it won't be long until the league's schools take to the field again: Rutgers hosts Howard, North Carolina visits Minnesota and Eastern Illinois visits Illinois next Thursday.
Then on Friday, Michigan State will host Florida Atlantic and Wisconsin will host Western Michigan.
Of course, the Iowa Hokies will kick off their 2024 campaign on Saturday, August 31st, at 11 a.m. on the Big Ten Network against FCS rival Illinois State.
