Eight people were killed or injured in a shooting at a cafe in the southern Montenegro town of Cetinia on Wednesday. The perpetrator fled and police are chasing him. The service urged residents to stay at home, public broadcaster RTCG reported.
Montenegrin media reported that at least eight people were killed in the attack, including two minors.
“A 45-year-old man used a gun to kill several people and then fled the scene armed,” police said in a statement.
He added, “This incident has nothing to do with a settlement between organized criminal groups.” “Special police units have been dispatched to the area,” a police official said.
