LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — CHI St. Vincent Health Network earned top recognition on the latest U.S. News and World Report Best Hospitals list.
CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute has been named the top cardiac program in Arkansas for the fourth consecutive year.
CHI St. Vincent Infirmary, CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs and CHI St. Vincent North in Little Rock were each recognized in multiple areas of care.
Chad Adadell, president of CHI St. Vincent Market in Arkansas, said the ranking is about more than just numbers.
“We are extremely proud of our team's dedication and expertise, which has enabled us to maintain our position as the top cardiac program in Arkansas,” Adadell said. “These rankings are more than just numbers; they represent the lives we touch and the communities we serve every day as we continue to provide the highest quality care to our patients and their families.”
The report cited CHI St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock as having “outstanding performance” in nine areas: abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, aortic valve surgery, colon cancer surgery, heart attack, heart bypass surgery, heart failure, hip replacement, kidney failure and pneumonia.
CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs was also ranked “high performing” in five categories: heart attack, heart failure, diabetes, stroke and COPD.
CHI St. Vincent North in Sherwood received a “high performing” rating in three areas: diabetes, kidney failure and pneumonia. Adadell said the rankings reaffirm the commitment of the health care professionals in the CHI St. Vincent system.
“These rankings are a testament to the skill and dedication of the entire medical team at all of our locations,” Adadell said. “These rankings reaffirm the unwavering commitment of CHI St. Vincent's medical professionals across the state to providing excellent health care to all of the communities we serve.”
