The Chicago Bears will host the Cincinnati Bengals at Soldier Field on Saturday in Week 2 of the preseason. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 PM ET (NFL Network). Below, we break down the lines on FanDuel Sportsbook's Bengals vs. Bears odds and give our expert NFL picks and predictions.
Cincinnati fans breathed a sigh of relief when QB Joe Burrow led the first-team offensive line down the field on the opening drive and scored a touchdown pass to wide receiver Tee Higgins. That was all Bengals fans wanted to see, and they didn't care about the 17-14 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Coach Zac Taylor said Burrow would not play against the Bears.
The Bears play their third preseason game on Saturday, but their first in front of their home fans. No. 1 overall pick, quarterback Caleb Williams, led Chicago to a 33-6 victory over the Buffalo Bills in their second preseason game. Williams completed 4 of 7 passes for 95 yards. Running back Ian Wheeler was outstanding on offense, rushing for 43 yards and two touchdowns. The Windy City of Chicago will get their first up-close look at the future of their franchise on Saturday.

Bengals vs Bears predictions and forecasts
prediction
Bears 31, Bengals 14
Money Line
I believe the Bears will win this game, and I certainly do since Vegas is almost a 3-1 favorite, so I'll put my money aside for the spread.
Passed.
Preventing the spread
Bet on the Bears -6.5 (-110).
This game will be a dress rehearsal for the Bears and their franchise quarterback, Williams, who will likely be seen for the last time before their Week 1 game against the Tennessee Titans. Williams will play at halftime and try to overwhelm the Bengals defense and show his hometown Chicago crowd what they got with their No. 1 pick.
Chicago is coming off a strong preseason start under coach Matt Eberflus, going 6-2, and the Bears reserves have been solid defensively since the second quarter of the Hall of Fame game.
The Bengals will have Jake Browning and Logan Woodside competing for the No. 2 spot on the depth chart behind Burrow, and Cincinnati isn't going to take any more chances on him this preseason.
Over/Under
The 36.5 total is almost the same as the average scoring total across the entire preseason slate in Week 1. Chicago has a better second-team offense, led by Khalil Herbert and Brett Rypien, who is vying for the QB2 spot in Chicago.
Bet 36.5 (-110) or more.
