Barcelona (Yuna) – Professor Iqbal Chaudhry, General Coordinator at Comestic, attended the World Mobile Communications Conference (MWC) Barcelona 2025, meeting global technology leaders and exploring the latest developments in the telecommunications industry.
During a visit to Huawei Pavilion, Dr. Chaudhry praised Huawei’s major contributions to 5G-A Smart Networks (5G-A) and its role in promoting global cooperation. He said: “On behalf of Comstec, we are honored to recognize Huawei’s outstanding contribution in 2025. Huawei has set new standards in the industry through its pioneering innovation to promote the fifth generation of technology and its pioneering innovation and its commitment to promoting global cooperation, such as cooperation between member states of Islamic cooperation organizations.
The World Mobile Communications Conference 2025 was characterized by launching 5G-A Smart Networks Solutions (5G-A) and displaying 83 global models through 71 major industrial scenarios.
A memorandum has been signed between the Pakistan Communications Agency (PTA) and Huawei as an extension of the effectiveness of the recent cybersecurity organized by Kumstics in partnership with Huawei. The partnership aims to strengthen the general framework of cybersecurity, develop technology capabilities, and increase innovation in the telecommunications sector.
Additionally, Kumstics and Huawei are working closely on several collaborative programs, including capacity building initiatives, digital transformation projects, and research partnerships to enhance the technological experience in member states of Islamic cooperation organizations. These efforts support the parties’ commitment to strengthening scientific cooperation, innovation and knowledge exchange.
Dr. Iqbal Chaudhry’s participation at the World Mobile Communications Conference 2025 reflects Comsticks’ commitment to supporting scientific technological advances in the Islamic world and strengthening international cooperation in emerging technologies.
