“Brussels Times” reports that Independent Railway Association Metisp-Protect organized a strike that began on Monday and continued into Sunday. On the first day of the action, they consist of reducing the number of trains between the largest cities.
The problem lies on international routes as well. The Eurostar First Railway operator cancelled two trains between Paris and Brussels that day.
Additionally, there were several Eurocity trains running along the route between Rotterdam and Brussels.

Strike in Belgium. Brussels Airport cancels flight
The Brussels airport has cancelled all departures planned for March 31 due to a one-day national strike.
There is also a disruption in the arrivals as ground services and conservation staff will take part in the strike in protest against government pension reform and labor markets.
Among the issues unions are automated pay indexing, pensions and better working conditions protection.
The Belgian government recently increased its retirement age from 65 to 66 people by January 1, 2025, and then introduced reforms from 67 to 2030. Those born before January 1, 1960 can retire at the age of 65.
