HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Hawaii Workers Center (HWC), the University of the Philippines Alumni Association of Hawaii (UPAAH) and the National Alliance for Filipino Affairs (NAFCON) will host the first ever Hawaii Walk for Health tomorrow.
The event will be held from 7 to 11 a.m. at Neal S. Blaisdell Park and aims to promote healthy exercise and community engagement.
Participants can enjoy a quarter-mile walk, stretching exercises and Eskrima, a traditional Filipino martial art.
Registration is $20 for adults and $10 for children, and registration will be open until tomorrow at 8 a.m. Proceeds will be used to support the organization's community and outreach programs.

HWC advocates for and organizes low-wage workers, non-union workers, primarily migrant and migrant workers. UPAAH promotes community awareness and active engagement in Philippine culture and development. NAFCON provides an action-oriented platform that brings people together through culture, history, education, health, wellness, economic development, and democracy.
