According to the Reuters agency, the American delegation will be particularly representative of Andrew Peak and Michael Anton, head of political planning for the United States. Russia has sent sanctions on Sergei Biesada, head of the 5th Federal Security Services Agency, and Grigolijah Karasin, head of the Federal Council’s Foreign Committee.

During discussions, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov reported that “negotiations on technical issues” were ongoing. Referring to possible agreements, he reported that “there are many complaints that require discussion.”

The Black Sea Cereal Initiative was agreed in July 2022 through mediation between Türkiye and the United Nations. Through this project, despite the war, the Black Sea exported approximately 33 million tons of Ukrainian agricultural products.
