This is a can’t-miss youth baseball game this season for those in and around Bucks County.
One more win and the Council Rock Newtown Little League baseball team will advance to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Boasting an undefeated record of 17-0 (the longest winning streak of any team in the county), the team is packed with talent, long-standing friendships and pride.
Not only are they looking to win the grand slam of a World Series berth, but they also have a shot at taking home the win.
After beating Maryland 11-1 on Tuesday, CR Newton will face a team from Washington, D.C. in the finals of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament. The game in Bristol, Connecticut, will be a rematch of last weekend when CR Newton defeated the D.C. team, 13-1.
If they win this game, CR Newton will head to Williamsport to play in the Little League World Series, which begins next week.

Where can I watch the game?
Green Parrot Restaurant Pub & Patio had planned a watch party for Friday afternoon in Newtown, but because rain was in the forecast, the game start time was moved up to 10 a.m. ET, so the party was also moved up to 10 a.m.
However, the match was called off late Friday morning due to rain.
