– EU institutions are trying to come to terms with these different methods of compromising the system's data security. It's always a race and usually these institutions are one step behind these criminals. However, it should be noted that the European Union is paying a lot of attention to cyber security. We have specific institutions that deal with this and we have institutions that deal with national issues. We work a lot, but everything changes, that's why it's difficult – said prof. Lukasz Arendt from the University of Lodz. The European Union has strengthened its cyber security activities over the years, responding to the growing and diversified threats in cyberspace.
