The Pegasus Audit Committee was established in January of this year to investigate the legality, regularity and appropriateness of activities conducted using the Pegasus software. In the WP “Tłit” program, Patrick Michalski asked the head of this committee, Magdalena Sroka, when the next notifications will reach the prosecutor's office. The PSL representative recalled that at the first stage, during the examination of the purchase of the system, the committee decided to issue a notification. – Notices that can then be directly included in the proceedings of the investigative team dealing with the Pegasus system, will probably be presented at the end when we present the report on the work of the commission, – she explained. He emphasized that he wants 2025 to be the year when the commission completes its work. – We remember that everything depends on the witnesses. As we have seen in recent months, they are taking all measures to make our work difficult, said Sroka. The speaker asked if the committee has started to accept new documents that the services did not want to submit to the committee yet. – Yes, we have access to operational materials. Actually, this cooperation looks different. It was difficult at first, – answered the deputy. He explained that the services rightly wanted to protect operational forms of work, but the Pegasus system no longer works in Poland. The journalist asked if the commission has access to the list of people under surveillance. Sroka revealed that the commission has documents on the operational work of the people to whom this system was used. – Of course, I will never be completely satisfied. I always know that more of these materials can be obtained, but this is all in the future, he added.
