Barron Trump, the youngest son of former US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump, has been gaining attention online recently as his father's 2024 presidential campaign heats up. Barron, who turned 18 on March 20, 2024, has been attracting attention in political circles for reportedly providing political advice and technical expertise to his father's team.
Who is Barron Trump?
Born in 2006, Barron grew up in the Trump family's lavish penthouse in New York City and attended a prestigious private school on Manhattan's Upper West Side. His parents, Donald and Melania Trump, married in 2005 and were due to give birth to Barron shortly thereafter.
After Donald Trump became president in January 2017, Melania Trump and her son stayed in New York City for a few months so Barron could finish out the school year. Over the summer, Barron spent time with the family at the White House.
Melania has consistently tried to shield Barron from the public eye.
Barron Trump's Slovenian accent is a hot topic
An old video of four-year-old Baron speaking with a Slovenian accent is going viral on social media platform X.
The video, filmed during the family's appearance on CNN's “Larry King Live” in April 2010, shows young Barron engaging in playful conversation with the talk show host.
In the video, Melania Trump encourages Barron to say hello to Larry King, and the boy waves enthusiastically at the camera.

At one point, Barron picked up his suitcase and asked his mother if he needed to go to school, to which Melania replied, “Yes, eat lunch and then go to school.” The video also shows Barron kneeling next to his open luggage, with Donald commenting, “Now you can read, write and do math.”
Larry King later noted Barron's accent, to which Melania responded by confirming that Barron spends most of his time with her.
“I think that's great. I'm OK with whatever he does,” Trump added. Melania Trump went on to claim that Barron speaks three languages, and Donald proudly declared him a “smart guy.”
