Donald Tusk participated in a boat crossing while in Sweden. He was accompanied by Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and his dog Winston. “We all feel at home,” the Polish government leader said after the Baltic and Nordic leaders' summit.
Thursday is the second and final day of two days of talks in Sweden involving heads of government from the Baltic and Nordic countries. Topics at the summit included transatlantic relations, regional security, and the war in Ukraine.
At the end of the meeting, Donald Tusk and Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson went on a short cruise on the lake next to his official residence in Haapsund. Christerson's dog Winston was on the boat with the politicians.

“Thank you Ulf Kristersson for inviting us. You made us all feel at home,” Tusk wrote on social media, attaching a photo from the boat to the post.
Swedish media: Donald Tusk becomes leader
Donald Tusk arrived in Haapsund, Sweden, on Wednesday morning. There he participated in summit meetings with the heads of government of the Baltic and Nordic countries (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Iceland, Finland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway).

On Thursday, at a joint press conference, the Polish Prime Minister proposed a patrol mission in the Baltic Sea in connection with recent incidents. Additionally, Donald Tusk called for stronger energy security.
The visit of the Polish head of government was widely reported in the Swedish media. “Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has assumed a leadership position to prepare the EU for a new era under the leadership of Donald Trump as US President,” wrote Aftonbladet.
The day before, the Prime Minister emphasized that the Baltic Sea region is the scene of geopolitical change. – This war completely changed the reality of our region, the whole of Europe, Scandinavia and the Baltics. These are our closest friends, partners and allies, especially in terms of defense and security, he said.
