During a round 14 match in Italy's Serie A, one of the players suddenly fainted, leaving fans gasping for breath. Edoardo Beauvais lost consciousness on the pitch and his teammates rushed to his rescue. Resuscitation efforts were performed by paramedics. The 22-year-old player regained consciousness only in the hospital.
A 22-year-old footballer from Rome fell on the pitch during the first half of the match between Fiorentina and Inter Milan. Team-mates from both teams quickly gathered around the player and called for a medical to the pitch.
ANSA reported that the players set up a strict cordon around Bove to prevent him from being seen by television cameras.

The referee was left with no choice and decided to stop the match. An ambulance then arrived and took the unconscious Italian to the hospital. The player was resuscitated during transport.

Initially, only a terse message was displayed regarding this issue. Italian league representatives only partially reported that the match had been suspended “due to a medical emergency.”
A few minutes later, the first information came that the 22-year-old man had regained consciousness and was able to breathe on his own. It was decided that the match would not be restarted and would be postponed to a later date.

It was the second time this year that a player fainted during a Serie A match, which happened in April when Roma defender Evan Ndicka, who was born in France and currently plays for Ivory Coast, played against Udinese. The player recovered and returned to the field.
