Starting Tuesday, all European Union citizens planning to travel to the UK will need to obtain an electronic travel approval (ETA) before coming to the country. The cost for this document is £10, or about 50 Zloty, but is expected to increase to £16 from April 9th.
As explained by Polsat News reporter Anna Nosalska, this application is submitted by an application that can be downloaded from government websites. Next, complete your personal and contact data and answer any employment questions. Your application should also answer questions about your criminal history.
New rules for entering the UK. You will need an ETA
Each person who comes to the British Isles must obtain their own e-travel approval. Importantly, this document allows for repeated crossing of borders, but only if one stay does not last for more than six months.

The reporter emphasized that the ETA will remain valid for two years, but is assigned to a specific passport. Therefore, if you wish to exchange your passport, you will need to apply for a different ETA. The application must be completed at least 72 hours before departing on your journey. Approval does not allow study or work.

Digital ETA documents allow you to come to the UK for up to three months as part of your creative employee visa relief.
Who doesn’t need to have an ETA? UK changes the rules of entry
No permission is required from people who live, work or have the right to study in the UK, Ireland, the UK’s overseas territories, and in the UK. Includes EU citizens, settler status, or temporary status of settler (most poles living in the UK).
Also, according to the law, ETAs are not required from people who live in Ireland, have citizenship of a country without a visa with the UK and enter the UK from Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Norman Islands. It is also not necessary for citizens of non-robber countries. Because they still need to apply for a visa.

The ETA is intended for citizens of countries without visas and will either come to the UK or pass it. The ETA is digitally connected to a travel passport, and, according to the UK government, promotes more accurate security management before travelling to the UK to prevent abuse of the immigration system.
UK passport checks remain
It should be remembered that having an ETA does not guarantee entry to the UK. Travelers still need to pass passport control, and it is the officials of the Border Agency who will make the final decision on whether travelers can enter the country.
The electronic travel approval program began applications in 2024 and has since taken over citizens of the Persian Gulf Council from six countries. The next phase was covered by travelers from 48 countries, including US citizens, Canada and Australia. The laws introduced also apply to Japan, Israel, Mexico and Argentina.
