A food van was stolen on Sunday. Tommy Banks, a prominent restaurateur and owner of two Michelin-starred restaurants in the UK, announced the incident on his social media.

He said the pie was due to be delivered to his stall during York's Christmas market. He estimated the value of the car and food at 25,000 złoty. Pound (approx. 130,000 PLN).

But he stressed that he was more worried about the fate of the food than the cars.
“I guess the robbers didn't realize they had stolen 25,000 pies in the van. All the pies were in a box with my name on it, so I decided to sell them,” he said in an Instagram post. It's not easy,” he emphasized.

Therefore, chefs are worried that the products they make will end up being thrown away somewhere and going to waste. Tommy Banks uses his reach to try to convince the thieves to do something different.
“We know you guys are criminals, but Christmas is coming and you could feed thousands of people the cake you stole. Do what you have to do.” I appealed.
He suggested leaving the pancakes somewhere so the team could hand them out to people. Or asked a social services center to drop off food.
