The Chicago Bears have yet to have a quarterback throw for 4,000 yards in a season. Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams is one of the breakout players in fantasy football for 2024 and will be looking to achieve this milestone. Williams was the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft, so there are high expectations for the 2022 Heisman Trophy winner. During that season, he threw for 4,537 yards in 14 games and 3,633 yards in 12 games last year. Where does he fit in our fantasy football rankings for 2024?
Williams joins the ranks of young quarterbacks who are already playing key roles in fantasy football strategies for 2024, joining Jayden Daniels, Anthony Richardson and CJ Stroud. Should you target any of them with your 2024 fantasy football picks? If you're looking for 2024 fantasy football advice, be sure to check out SportsLine's 2024 Fantasy Football Cheat Sheet from their proven computer model.
Last year, the model accurately predicted that Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle would not live up to his fantasy football ADP. Waddle's 2023 fantasy football ADP was 34.86 overall, making him the 11th-best receiver overall. He recorded a 1,000-yard season but only had 72 receptions and four touchdowns, finishing 34th among fantasy football wide receivers in CBS Sports PPR leagues.
The same model has a proven track record of providing fantasy football tips, identifying AJ Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and accurately predicting Jonathan Taylor's phenomenal season in 2021. Additionally, they have predicted past fantasy football sleepers such as Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Those who bet on these players have gone on to win league titles.
The model is run by the same people who create the projections for the three major fantasy sites, and it beat out human experts last season when there was a huge difference in rankings. Our 2024 Fantasy Football PPR Rankings and 2024 Fantasy Football Standard Projections are updated multiple times each day, so you'll always have the best fantasy football advice and the latest fantasy football tiers.

2024 Fantasy Football QB Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three fantasy football QB picks for 2024.
1. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: Hurts finished second among QBs in fantasy scoring last year despite his scoring average dropping nearly four points per game. He continues to provide rushing value for fantasy owners, rushing for 605 yards and 15 touchdowns, the most ever by a quarterback in a single season. An increase in passing yards this season could lead to a historic fantasy campaign.
2. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: Allen has never finished worse than QB2 over the past four seasons and has thrown for over 4,000 yards in each of them. Like Hurts, he has been very valuable as a runner, scoring 15 touchdowns. His single-season high so far is nine, and he continues to find ways to improve his fantasy production.
3. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs: Mahomes finished with a disappointing fantasy score of QB8 and averaged 261.4 passing yards per game. He also allowed the fewest passing yards per game and the lowest passing yards per attempt and touchdown rate in his six years as the Chiefs' starting quarterback. But the two-time MVP has two 5,000-yard passing seasons in his career, and Kansas City got two quality receivers in Marquise Brown and Xavier Worthy. See more top QBs here.
2024 Fantasy Football RB Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three fantasy football running back picks for 2024.
1. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: It's his health that has hurt McCaffrey's fantasy value the most in his pro career, missing just one start in his two seasons with San Francisco and resulting in 1,459 yards as the rushing leader in 2023. McCaffrey is expected to have another big year with the 49ers and not be taken early in fantasy football drafts.
2. Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons: Robinson had a strong season last year, but finished 17th among RBs in fantasy points per game as head coach Arthur Smith preferred to hand the ball to Tyler Allgaier. With the Falcons having a new coaching staff, Robinson's workload is expected to increase in 2024, which should make for an even bigger fantasy impact.
3. Breece Hall, New York Jets: Hall's rookie season was marred by a season-ending ACL injury, but he bounced back in a big way in 2023. New York's QB swap allowed the run game to function well, and Hall finished the season averaging 4.5 yards per catch and five touchdowns. He also had 76 receptions, up from just 19 the season before. See the other top running backs here.
2024 Fantasy Football WR Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three fantasy football WR picks for 2024.
1. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: Lamb had 135 catches for 1,749 yards and 14 total touchdowns (all career highs) last season and all of his underlying metrics were strong: His 181 targets led the NFL, and he also led the league in red-zone targets (31), YAC (680), routes won (323) and fantasy points per game (23.7).
2. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins: While Lamb led the NFL in receptions, Hill led the league in receiving yards (1,799) and receiving touchdowns (13). He's the NFL's best home run hitter, and Mike McDaniels has used him to relentlessly attack opposing defenses. Hill's target share of 36.9% was the best in the NFL, and his air yard share of 44.0% was second among NFL receivers.
3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: St. Brown is now an undisputed star, but the former fourth-round draft pick still plays with a lot of frustration, and it's showing. Last season, despite multiple injuries, he caught 119 passes for 1,515 yards and 10 touchdowns (all career highs) while playing for one of the NFL's most exciting offenses. See more top WRs here.
2024 Fantasy Football TE Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three 2024 fantasy football TE picks.
1. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: There's no need to overthink this one. Kelce has finished as the TE1 in six of the past eight seasons and was first in points per game last season despite finishing as TE3. Kansas City didn't make any major upgrades to its playmaking room, so the Patrick Mahomes-Kelce pairing will be remembered as one of the best in NFL history. Expect another season from the most dominant tight end in NFL history.
2. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions: The second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft finished as TE1 in his rookie season. If anyone can surpass Kelce for the top spot at the position, it's him. LaPorta scored 10 touchdowns last season, one of only seven players to reach double figures in receiving scores and four more touchdowns than any other player at the position. The Lions return nearly their entire offensive line, including offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, and LaPorta will be looking to build on his strong rookie season.
3. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: Andrews was the fourth-best fantasy tight end in points per game last season and was coming off another great season before suffering a serious ankle injury in Week 11 that ended his regular season. Excluding the injury, Andrews recorded at least 60 yards receiving in five of his last seven games and led Baltimore in receiving yards per game (54.4) last season. Andrews will likely continue to be a top target for Lamar Jackson as our model projects him to be one of the top three fantasy tight ends this year. See other top TEs here.
