Last year, the model accurately predicted that Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle would not live up to his fantasy football ADP. Waddle's 2023 fantasy football ADP was 34.86 overall, making him the 11th-best receiver overall. He recorded a 1,000-yard season but only had 72 receptions and four touchdowns, finishing 34th among fantasy football wide receivers in CBS Sports PPR leagues.
The same model has a proven track record of providing fantasy football tips, identifying AJ Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and accurately predicting Jonathan Taylor's phenomenal season in 2021. Additionally, they have predicted past fantasy football sleepers such as Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Those who bet on these players have gone on to win league titles.
The model is run by the same people who create the projections for the three major fantasy sites, and it beat out human experts last season when there was a huge difference in rankings. Our 2024 Fantasy Football PPR Rankings and 2024 Fantasy Football Standard Projections are updated multiple times each day, so you'll always have the best fantasy football advice and the latest fantasy football tiers.

2024 Fantasy Football QB Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three fantasy football QB picks for 2024.
1. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: Though his passing efficiency dropped off in 2023, Hurts made up for it with a career-high 15 rushing touchdowns. His passing performance should improve under new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, and running back Saquon Barkley will give Hurts an excellent target out of the backfield. Wide receivers AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith both signed long-term deals during the offseason, entrenching Hurts at the top of the quarterback rankings.
2. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: Allen also ran for 15 touchdowns last season, a big improvement from his seven rushing scores in 2022. He was the best fantasy football quarterback the past four seasons, and the Bills retained offensive coordinator Joe Brady. But his weapons aren't as good as they were this season, which is why he's behind Hurts in the rankings.
3. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs: Mahomes finished 10th among quarterbacks in fantasy points per game last season, but he's showing signs of a resurgence this season. The Chiefs added wide receiver Marquise Brown in free agency and wideout Xavier Worthy in the draft, giving Mahomes some new deep targets. Tight end Travis Kelce also struggled with injuries last year, so Mahomes has some signs of improvement this year. To see more top QBs, click here.
2024 Fantasy Football RB Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three fantasy football running back picks for 2024.
1. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: McCaffrey's pedigree is clear. When healthy, he's more than capable of carrying the team in any given week. He's played in at least 16 games over the past four seasons, averaging 2,065 scrimmage yards and 16 touchdowns. If you're looking to pick No. 1 in a typical PPR league, this is a very easy choice.
2. Breece Hall, New York Jets: A second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Hall appeared to be on a roll as a rookie, piling up 681 yards from scrimmage and five touchdowns in his first seven games before an injury ended his season. He returned in 2023 and threw for 1,585 yards from scrimmage and nine touchdowns despite the Jets' lack of a solid passing threat. With Aaron Rodgers back, Hall could do more damage against a weakened defense.
3. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: After six years with the Giants, Barkley joined the Eagles this offseason and will be part of a dynamic offense behind a strong offensive line. Though nagging injuries have been an issue at times, he's still managed to score double-digit touchdowns and average 1,446 scrimmage yards over the past two seasons. A change of scenery could help him flourish. Click here to see more top running backs.
2024 Fantasy Football WR Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three fantasy football WR picks for 2024.
1. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: The fourth-year receiver has increased his receptions, yards and touchdowns in each of his first three NFL seasons, and while it may be hard to imagine him coming into the 2024 NFL season stronger than he was last year, history shows he will improve. Lamb led the NFL in receptions (135), second in receiving yards (1,749) and third in receiving touchdowns (12) making him the WR1 in fantasy football last year. Another year with Dak Prescott at quarterback and Dallas not making any major upgrades to its playmaking unit suggests Lamb will again be heavily utilized as the WR1 in our model for 2024 fantasy football rankings.
2. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins: Hill became the first player in NFL history to have two seasons with at least 1,700 yards receiving in his career, let alone back-to-back seasons. The 30-year-old Hill had at least 1,700 yards receiving in each of his first two seasons with Miami, leading the NFL with 1,799 yards receiving. With Miami's offense thriving after Hill and Tua Tagovailoa signed new contracts this offseason, the model projects Hill to have another monster season.
3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: Like Lamb, St. Brown has also increased his receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns in his first three seasons in the NFL. The 24-year-old was third in the league in receiving yards (1,515) and tied for second in receptions (119) last season. The schedule this season favors the Lions' offense, with 14 of Detroit's 17 games this season being played indoors. This is when Jared Goff is at his best, leading to a great performance from St. Brown. See other top WRs here.
2024 Fantasy Football TE Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three 2024 fantasy football TE picks.
1. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: A four-time All-Pro, Kelce had seven straight seasons with 1,000-plus receiving yards before hitting just 984 in 2023. The Chiefs added veteran wide receiver Marquise Brown and rookie first-round draft pick Xavier Worthy this offseason, which could put Kelce in more one-on-one coverage underneath. Of all tight ends in the NFL, Kelce is in arguably the best situation from both a tactical and quarterback standpoint.
2. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions: LaPorta was one of the biggest breakout players as a rookie in the class of 2023, averaging 14.1 points per game. The former University of Iowa star should remain a centerpiece for Jared Goff this season in Ben Johnson's offense, and LaPorta is one of seven players in 2023 with at least 10 touchdowns.
3. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: In 2023, Andrews averaged an impressive 13.5 points per game before missing the final six games of the regular season with an ankle injury. Andrews will enter the 2024 season fully healthy and should once again be Lamar Jackson's primary target. Andrews has 40 touchdowns since 2018 and has a career average of 12.7 yards per catch.
