There are just two weeks until the 2024 NFL season, which means fans are in the midst of preparing for the 2024 fantasy football draft. Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been a mainstay on fantasy teams that have won the league in recent years, but he is also the quarterback who was not selected first according to many 2024 fantasy football rankings. While early round players may still have value, they are also more likely to fail in fantasy football in 2024. Other quarterbacks competing for the top spot in the 2024 fantasy football QB rankings include Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, and Lamar Jackson.
The only way to be confident in your 2024 fantasy football draft strategy is to use a set of 2024 fantasy football rankings If you're looking for fantasy football advice in 2024, be sure to check out SportsLine's 2024 Fantasy Football Cheat Sheet powered by their proven computer model.
Last year, the model accurately predicted that Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle would not live up to his fantasy football ADP. Waddle's 2023 fantasy football ADP was 34.86 overall, making him the 11th-best receiver overall. He recorded a 1,000-yard season but only had 72 receptions and four touchdowns, finishing 34th among fantasy football wide receivers in CBS Sports PPR leagues.
The same model has a proven track record of providing fantasy football tips, identifying AJ Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and accurately predicting Jonathan Taylor's phenomenal season in 2021. Additionally, they have predicted past fantasy football sleepers such as Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Those who bet on these players have gone on to win league titles.
The model is run by the same people who create the projections for the three major fantasy sites, and it beat out human experts last season when there was a huge difference in rankings. Our 2024 Fantasy Football PPR Rankings and 2024 Fantasy Football Standard Projections are updated multiple times each day, so you'll always have the best fantasy football advice and the latest fantasy football tiers.

2024 Fantasy Football QB Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three fantasy football QB picks for 2024.
1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: Allen is the QB1 for the second straight year and is averaging 23.1 fantasy points per game. He finished the 2023 season with 4,306 passing yards and 29 touchdowns, plus a career-high 15 rushing TDs. With the departures of Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, there are question marks around the Bills' offense, but Allen is still expected to have a great fantasy season.
2. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: Hurts saw a slight drop in production last season due to the Eagles' overall offensive slump, but he remains a top fantasy acquisition heading into 2024. Hurts is rated high, having recorded 15 rushing touchdowns in 2023 and being very productive on the ground.
3. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens: Jackson has finished as a top-three fantasy quarterback twice in his career, including last season, and was named MVP both times. In 2023, Jackson completed 67.2% of his passes for 3,678 yards and rushed for another 821 yards. His rushing ability continues to make him one of the top picks for fantasy football rosters. 2024 Fantasy Football RB Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three fantasy football running back picks for 2024.
1. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: McCaffrey was a bit of a worrier after suffering a calf injury in training camp, but he has been spotted working out in practice and is expected to be available for Week 1. Despite the injury concerns, it's hard to imagine the team selecting anyone other than McCaffrey as the RB1 unless he sets back during his recovery. McCaffrey scored over 100 more PPR points last season than any other running back and has finished the season as either the RB1 or RB2 in each of the past four seasons in which he has played a full game.
2. Breece Hall, New York Jets: Hall is the first running back selected in the 2022 NFL Draft (2nd round, 36th overall) and proved why last season with his ability to be a key playmaker both on the run and receiving end. With the Jets playing arguably the worst quarterback in the league, Hall ran for 994 yards despite facing crowded boxes all season. He led all running backs last year with 76 receptions. The Jets will look very different this season with Aaron Rodgers returning from injury, but Hall will be a big part of the offense regardless.
3. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles didn't just give Barkley a three-year, $37.75 million contract in free agency to make him a bonus. Jalen Hurts led the NFL in rushing touchdowns (28) over the past two seasons, but Barkley can take some of the pressure off Hurts at the goal line. Barkley was a big threat to the Giants' offense last season, but he still totaled 1,242 yards in 14 games (88.7 per game) and could be a big hit in Philadelphia if the coaching staff can't just focus on stopping Barkley. 2024 Fantasy Football WR Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three fantasy football WR picks for 2024.
1. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: The 25-year-old Lamb has steadily improved each season of his pro career, recording 1,749 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns in 2023. Lamb was the WR1 in fantasy points per game and finished the season with 100+ yards receiving in seven of his final 12 games while ranking fourth in the league in target share and fifth in yards per route run.
2. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins: Hill averaged just under 20 points per game last season, scoring nearly 300 fantasy points, good for second overall at his position. He led the league in yards per route run (3.72) while recording over 1,700 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns. Hill is now 30 years old, but shows no signs of slowing down at this point.
3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: St. Brown won the triple-win last season, averaging 16.5 fantasy points per game and ranking third among wide receivers. He had 1,371 receiving yards and nine touchdowns with a 30% target share and 34% air yard share. St. Brown signed a major contract extension this offseason, making him the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL at the time. See other top WRs here.
2024 Fantasy Football TE Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three 2024 fantasy football TE picks.
1. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: Despite seeing his streak of seven consecutive seasons with 1,000+ receiving yards come to an end in 2023, Kelce has been one of the most productive fantasy tight ends in the league. The 34-year-old Kelce caught 93 passes for 984 yards and five touchdowns last season, which was a step back for him, but was still enough to be a top-three tight end after all. Kelce led all tight ends in points per game last season and has been the No. 1 overall tight end in six of the past eight seasons.
2. Sam Laporta, Detroit Lions: Laporta had a sensational rookie season in Detroit, catching 86 passes for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns. Now in his second year with the Lions, Laporta should continue to benefit from the explosive playmakers on Detroit's offensive line. With Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameel Gibbs drawing plenty of attention from opposing defenses, Laporta should have success in 2024.
3. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: Andrews was on pace to have the best year of his career in 2023 before an ankle injury ended his season early. The Oklahoma star caught 45 passes for 544 yards and six touchdowns in 10 games. Andrews is set to enter the 2024 season fully healthy and looking to reclaim his spot as NFL MVP Lamar Jackson's No. 1 target. See other top tight ends here.
