When developing your 2024 fantasy football draft strategy, you need to take into account that running backs will miss multiple games during the season. Running backs will be hit the hardest, with players such as Saquon Barkley, Alvin Kamara, and James Conner potentially missing multiple games during the season. That’s why it’s essential to have deep depth at this position by the end of the fantasy football 2024 draft. With reliable 2024 fantasy football RB rankings, you can find 2024 fantasy football late round sleepers who could become spot starters if RB1 or RB2 get injured.
Miami rookie Jalen Wright could fit that bill, ranking sixth among running backs in yards per carry and third in yards per reception during the preseason. Given the way head coach Mike McDaniel designs wide rushing lanes on the ground, whoever receives the carries for Miami deserves a roster spot and a highlight in our 2024 fantasy football draft guide. Last year, the model accurately predicted that Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle would not live up to his fantasy football ADP. Waddle's 2023 fantasy football ADP was 34.86 overall, making him the 11th-best receiver overall. He recorded a 1,000-yard season but only had 72 receptions and four touchdowns, finishing 34th among fantasy football wide receivers in CBS Sports PPR leagues.
The same model has a proven track record of providing fantasy football tips, identifying AJ Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and accurately predicting Jonathan Taylor's phenomenal season in 2021. Additionally, they have also predicted past fantasy football sleepers such as Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Betting on these players has led to them winning league titles.
The model is run by the same people who create the projections for the three major fantasy sites, and it beat out human experts last season when there was a huge difference in rankings. Our 2024 Fantasy Football PPR Rankings and 2024 Fantasy Football Standard Projections are updated multiple times each day, so you'll always have the best fantasy football advice and the latest fantasy football tiers.

2024 Fantasy Football QB Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three fantasy football QB picks for 2024.
1. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: Eagles fans may be worried about the 15 interceptions he threw and the disastrous end to the 2023 season as far as the team is concerned, but Hurts' production as a fantasy football quarterback remains strong. He set new career highs in passing yards (3,858), passing touchdowns (23) and rushing touchdowns (15) and will add Saquon Barkley and Jahan Dotson to his arsenal in 2024.
2. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: Losing Stefon Diggs in a trade this offseason may have been a blow, but the Bills are still built around Josh Allen's passing attack. Over the past four years, Allen has averaged 4,385 yards and 34 touchdowns, and every season he played professionally he had at least 421 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns.
3. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens: Jackson's 457 pass attempts in 2023 were a career-high, but he also completed a career-best 67.2% of them. With a more modern offense led by Todd Monken, Jackson passed for a career-high 3,678 yards and 24 touchdowns with just seven interceptions. He also remains the NFL's most dynamic running quarterback, rushing for 821 yards and five touchdowns in his second MVP season. See other top QBs here.
2024 Fantasy Football RB Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three fantasy football running back picks for 2024.
1. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: McCaffrey has ranked 1st, 1st, 2nd and 3rd in fantasy points by position over the past four seasons when he's healthy. McCaffrey's 67 receptions last year were just the fifth-most of his seven-year career, so he has room to improve in 2024.
2. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: Barkley was great in New York, but his potential will be even greater in Philadelphia. Barkley will be facing a loaded box as the Giants ranked 26th or worse in passing grade each of the past four years. Barkley has only averaged 4.0 yards per carry over the past four years, including 4.8 in his first two seasons, but Philadelphia's balanced attack should open up rushing lanes.
3. Breece Hall, New York Jets: Fantasy managers should acquire an unlocked version of Hall, who is recovering from a torn ACL early last season. From Week 5 through Week 18 last year, Hall ranked second among all running backs in fantasy points, behind only McCaffrey. See the other top running backs here.
2024 Fantasy Football WR Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three fantasy football WR picks for 2024.
1. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: With his contract issues resolved, Lamb can now focus on repeating his historic season in 2023. He broke Michael Irvin's franchise records for receptions and yards in a season and holds the record for most games with 11 or more receptions in a season (seven times) in NFL history. The latter made Lamb the top fantasy wide receiver in both standard scoring and PPR leagues.
2. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins: A season-ending injury prevented Hill from challenging Calvin Johnson's single-season receiving yards record, but the speedy wide receiver led the NFL in both receiving yards (1,799) and receiving touchdowns (13). Hill is entering his age-30 season, but his 15.1 yards per catch last year was his best in five seasons and he's living up to his Cheetah nickname.
3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: A former fourth-round pick, St. Brown has seen his receptions, yards, yards per catch and receiving TDs all rise in his three seasons in the NFL, making him the ideal progression front office executives would want. Despite the addition of TE Sam LaPorta, St. Brown had more targets and receptions inside 20 yards last year than any rookie TE and continues to be Jared Goff's best red zone option. See other top WRs here.
2024 Fantasy Football TE Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three 2024 fantasy football TE picks.
1. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: Kansas City revamped its wide receiver corps after a disappointing season last year by signing Marquise Brown and drafting Xavier Worthy. Unfortunately for the Chiefs, Brown is battling a shoulder injury, but even if everyone is healthy, Kelce is the clear No. 1 option for Kansas City's passing attack. He's averaged 96 catches for just under 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns over the past eight seasons.
2. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions: The Iowa native was a second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and quickly earned the trust of Dan Campbell and his staff. He played at least 70% of the offensive snaps in every game except for Week 17 against the Vikings, when the Lions had already clinched the NFC North title. He had 86 catches for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns and could be even more involved in the offense in 2024.
3. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: Andrews missed seven games last year, the first time in his career that he's missed more than one game in a season. The numbers when he was on the field make it clear that he's still a top-five option at the position. He was fourth in target share among tight ends (22.2%), and that number jumped to an astounding 37.8% in the red zone. See the rest of the top TEs here.
