With over 160 players to be selected in the 2024 fantasy football draft, it can be hard to pinpoint who the 2024 NFL sleepers will be. However, selecting an underrated player in your 2024 fantasy football picks could have a big impact on this season.
Which players are likely to realize their potential in fantasy football in 2024, and which players are likely to fall flat in fantasy football in 2024? Before you develop your 2024 fantasy football draft strategy, be sure to check out the 2024 fantasy football rankings & cheat sheet from SportsLine's proven computer model.
Last year, the model accurately predicted Jets running back Breece Hall would significantly outperform his sixth-round fantasy football ADP in 10-team PPR leagues. The results: Hall rushed 223 times for 994 yards and five scores and was also a dynamic receiver out of the backfield, catching 76 passes for 591 yards and four scores. He ultimately finished as the second-leading running back in CBS Sports PPR leagues behind Christian McCaffrey.
The same model has a proven track record of providing fantasy football tips, identifying AJ Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and accurately predicting Jonathan Taylor's phenomenal season in 2021. Additionally, they have also predicted past fantasy football sleepers such as Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Betting on these players has led to them winning league titles.
The model is run by the same people who create the projections for the three major fantasy sites, and it beat out human experts last season when there was a huge difference in rankings. Our 2024 Fantasy Football PPR Rankings and 2024 Fantasy Football Standard Rankings are updated multiple times each day, so you'll always get the best fantasy football advice.

Top Sleepers for Fantasy Football in 2024
One of the model's projected fantasy football sleepers for 2024: Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. Will Revis and Ryan Tannehill shared the quarterback duties for Tennessee last season, but Hopkins was the clear top target regardless of who was under center. He caught 75 passes for 1,057 yards and seven touchdowns for a 28% target share.
Hopkins caught 27 passes of 20-plus yards and will benefit from an offseason in which Revis has assumed the starting role. The only downside for Hopkins is the addition of Calvin Ridley, who is arguably the team's two best wide receivers. The SportsLine model has Hopkins ranked higher than Terry McLaurin and Christian Watson, both of whom are taken ahead of Hopkins in the average fantasy draft.
Another player to watch in SportsLine's fantasy football rankings for 2024 is Jets wide receiver Mike Williams. Drafting a 30-year-old receiver coming off a season limited by an ACL injury is a risk, but a fresh start with a new team could set Williams up for a comeback campaign.
Williams was very productive before his injury in Week 3 of last year, catching 19 passes for 249 yards during his final tenure with the Los Angeles Chargers. He is expected to be the Jets' WR2 once he is healthy and able to play, and will be even stronger working with Aaron Rodgers. Williams is projected to be a late selection in CBS Sports PPR leagues, but our model projects him to exceed his 2024 fantasy football ADP.
