This year's action heroes are:
Status
Olek was born completely healthy. When he was 6 years old, a great tragedy happened in his life. He was in his bed when his pajamas and then his body caught fire. As a result of the accident, 60 percent of Olek's body was burned. Doctors gave him only a 20 percent chance of survival. – He underwent more than 100 hours of surgery in three months. When he woke up, he looked at me, tears flowed and said: “Dad” – recalls Artur Trzop, Olek's father.
The family fights every day so that Olek can live a normal life. The cost of treatment is several thousand zlotys per month, and the family is in a difficult financial situation.

Zuzia goes to rehab 4 times a week, including individually, but she needs to go more. It is expensive, as are the orthotics needed to prevent limb deformities. Maybe the girl also needs a psychologist because of mental problems.

Ola
7-year-old Ola cannot speak or walk. The girl has genetic encephalopathy. Parents continue to look for ways to get their daughter back on her feet. – Sometimes, when we talk with Ola, it becomes clear that he wants to say something, but he can't. Something prevents this, says the girl's father.
In September, Ola's family home was destroyed by floods. – Ola had a rehabilitation room adapted to her needs. And the water took everything, – laments the mother of 7 years old.
Funds are needed not only for repairs, but first of all for the equipment and restoration of Ola.

Raphael
After birth, Rafal developed normally, but when he was 1.5 years old, everything changed. – It got to the point where he was lying there. He shook his head from side to side and had no strength to lift it. That's how he stopped moving his legs, – says Tomasz Schweigiel, Rafal's father.
It turned out that the boy has SMA – spinal muscular atrophy. What saves Rafal's life today and is the basis of his treatment is regular visits to the Children's Health Center in Warsaw. Once in four months, Rafal goes to the hospital, spends a few days there, and they inject medicine into his spine to stop the disease.
– Without equipment, without restoration, without the help of specialists, I can't imagine what it will be like, – admits Mr. Tomas.
– Unfortunately, the costs are not low. A physiotherapist is about 2000 people. PLN per month only for the reconstruction of the house, and the equipment in Poland is very expensive – adds the man.
