Fusion, a provider of electronic health record (EHR) solutions, has announced it will implement an EHR system for the Ohio Department of Youth Services (DYS).
Fusion is currently the sole EHR provider for state agencies managing Ohio’s justice system and streamlining health technology for adult correctional facilities and juvenile services.
The new EHR, which went live on June 24, gives DYS staff a comprehensive platform for managing patient records, coordinating care and improving overall efficiency, according to the company.
“We are excited to welcome the Ohio Department of Youth Services into the Fusion family,” Fusion founder and CEO Brian Jacobsick said in a statement. “This achievement is a testament to the strong partnership we've built with DYS and the hard work and dedication of our team. We look forward to continuing to support DYS in their mission of providing quality care to justice-involved youth.”
