Prosecutor Mariusz Duszinski, spokesman of the Gdansk District Prosecutor's Office announced that Adriana S. from 2022, in exchange for speeding up the procedure for issuing an administrative decision on the legalization of stay in Poland, he should receive financial benefits from various people. The service also arrested four foreigners who “in exchange for financial benefits transferred to the detained official, were intermediaries in the acceleration of the legalization of the stay of many people.” According to the investigators, the detainees allegedly demanded from several hundred to several thousand zlotys from some individuals.
“The prosecutor filed a total of five charges against Yuriy K. for the commission of crimes involving influence in the Pomeranian Voivodeship Administration and providing financial benefits to a person holding a public position in connection with the performance of this duty,” the statement said. from the Gdansk Prosecutor's Office.

Suspects face imprisonment from six months to eight years. The investigation is ongoing and further arrests are possible.
