Life expectancy and risk of early death are always genetically related. However, a new study by scientists in Oxford’s population health sheds new light on the subject. Environmental factors can be seen to have the most impact on health and longevity. What should I look for?
An analysis carried out based on Biobank UK data covering almost half a million participants showed that environmental factors were responsible for 17%. The variability in the risk of death is much smaller than previously assumed, with genetic effects less than 2%.

Based on studies published in Nature Medicine, 25 important environmental factors have been identified that have a significant impact on aging and mortality. Of these, the most important role is:
