“The bodies of 12 people, probably employed at the same establishment, were found in a second-floor bedroom of an Indian restaurant in Gudauri,” the report said. An autopsy was planned.
Eleven of the victims were foreign nationals, including one from Georgia. A generator was also found inside the building. The day before the tragedy, the electricity was turned on during a power outage at the center. Initial theories indicated that the generator may have contributed to the tragedy.
