“There were no Poles among the victims of the Berlin-Szczecin bus accident,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Paweł Wronski said. The Felix bus accident occurred on the A11 motorway, about 20 kilometers from the Polish border. Two people were killed and 11 injured. On Sunday, German police announced a probable cause for the incident.
The victim of a Flixbus accident skidded while driving from Berlin to Szczecin on Saturday, collided with a barrier on the A11 and fell onto its side, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Paweł Wronski told Radio RDC. It is said that there were no Polish people.
The incident occurred around 3 p.m. Unfortunately, two of the 13 people on the bus did not survive the accident. The victims were a 29-year-old woman from an Eastern European country and a 48-year-old German man.
The remaining 11 people were injured, four of them seriously.

The Brandenburg Police Central Press Office reported on Sunday that weather conditions were likely the cause of the bus accident on the A11 motorway near the Polish border.

Police said the Flixbus veered off the right-hand side of the road towards Poland near the Landaubruch parking lot due to weather conditions and then overturned. However, the exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.
The accident scene was cleared around 1 a.m. The bus was secured by police and prosecutors called in special experts.

Julia Grzegorczyk from the press office of the airline Flixbus confirmed on Sunday that the circumstances of the incident are still under investigation and that the company is cooperating with the relevant services. – The exact circumstances of the accident are not yet known. A Flixbus representative said: “We are working closely with local authorities and emergency services on scene and will do everything we can to quickly and thoroughly explain the cause of the accident.”
She added that the company has launched a special hotline for victims.
