Thomas Jeromin and Susanne, a couple from Rinteln in Lower Saxony, western Germany, have decorated 600 Christmas trees in the 180 square meters of their home, breaking the world record set a year ago, dpa news agency reported on Wednesday. The Christmas tree has over 108,000 sparkles. Something boring.
The German Documentation Institute (RID) awarded the couple for “decorating the most Christmas trees in one place.'' From Advent to Epiphany, or January 6th, the Jeromin family home lights up like a colorful Christmas world.

The house, which has an area of 180 square meters, has 45 more decorated artificial trees than last year.
The DPA agency emphasized that Thomas Geromine's passion for collecting began 13 years ago, during which time he passed it on to his wife. Unique pieces in the couple's collection include Christmas trees with themes such as stuffed animals and quacking ducks.
