Thanks to the luck of the Irish, travellers may be able to get great deals on flights.
Aer Lingus recently announced dozens of discounted flights from the U.S. to its home base in Ireland. The Irish national carrier is offering round-trip flights to Dublin and Shannon for under $500, as well as trans-European flights to destinations like Amsterdam and Rome for under $531.

All discounted flights are in economy class and are available from September to November, with T+L previously recommending September and October as the best times to visit Ireland due to the weather and fewer tourists in popular areas.
For reference, Aer Lingus' economy cabin only includes one carry-on bag and a free meal. Passengers can add checked bags and advance seat selection for an additional fee.
Dublin Airport offers a unique perk: Customs Preclearance. Travelers can save up to two hours by passing through US customs and security at Dublin Airport, and arrive back in the US essentially as if they were on a domestic flight. Dublin Airport also recently upgraded its airport Wi-Fi, which is now faster than ever before.
