The police in the center of Głogów (Lower Silesian Voivodeship) are investigating the dangerous behavior of the driver on Saturday evening. According to the information we got through Kontakt24, this man allegedly left the club, got behind the wheel of a “Land Rover” and tried to run over passers-by. Footage circulating online, which is said to be of the incident, shows that the driver, after some nervous maneuvers, drove the car onto the sidewalk where pedestrians were walking, hitting at least one person.
The incident happened on the night from Saturday to Sunday in the ancient city of Glogov. “Kontakt24” informed us that there was a fight in one of the buildings, after which one of the participants got into a car and tried to run over passers-by. It is said that several people were injured.
Recordings of the alleged incident have surfaced online. In them, the driver of a big, dark car nervously backs up and turns several times, and also chases passers-by on the sidewalk. At least one person gets punched in the video. Finally, the driver reverses the car, enters another street and leaves.
Police are looking for the driver
This news was partially confirmed by Aleksandra Pieprzycka, the press officer of the Wrocław Police Department.
– We received the news at 23:25. We don’t have information about the altercation, but there have been reports of a car allegedly hitting a group of people. When the police arrived at the scene, no one was injured, only a few damaged cars were parked on the side of the road. We confirmed this news based on monitoring. The police will work to find the person who was driving the car and the people who were injured in the accident. At the moment it is difficult to say what the nature of the activities will be, Pieprzycka said.
