HINSDALE, Ill. (WLS) — The Hinsdale Little League team is one win away from making it to the Little League World Series.
In Hinsdale, fans are hosting viewing parties to cheer on their hometown team.

Hinsdale Little League represents the state of Illinois, with the 12-and-under team playing in the Little League Great Lakes Regional Tournament with the goal of representing the region in the World Series.
Just a few days ago, the team came from behind to win a close game against Kentucky.
On Wednesday, they will face Indiana in the regional championship in Whitetown, Indiana.
The Hinsdale community is rooting for their little local athletes, and at Fuller House, all the TVs were turned to the game and people were excited to root for their teams.
One parent who is in Indiana for the game spoke to ABC7 by phone. She said win or lose, it's been an exciting journey so far and hopefully it's not over yet.
