The South Korean giant of the Hyundai wagons unveiled $ 21 billion (16.3 billion pounds Sterling) in the United States.
The plan includes a new steel factory of $ 5.8 billion in the southern state of Louisiana.
Hyundai also said that it would expand its production of American vehicles and will invest billions of dollars in new technologies, including autonomous driving and artificial intelligence (AI).
The announcement alongside US President Donald Trump is involved while his administration should impose new prices on business partners from April 2.
“The money tried. We want to keep it like this,” said Trump during the White House event on Monday.
“This investment is a clear demonstration that works very strongly.”
Trump added that more prices on vehicle imports are expected to be announced this week.
Hyundai said that the new steel installation will produce more than 2.7 million metric tonnes of steel per year and will create more than 1,400 jobs.

The announcement also includes plans to invest $ 9 billion to increase business production in the United States to 1.2 million vehicles per year by 2028.

Hyundai also said that it would buy $ 3 billion in liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the United States.

The latest series of import taxes could potentially target the country of origin in South Korea in Hyundai, which has an important trade surplus with the United States.
Last month, Trump ordered an import tax of 25% on all steel and aluminum entering the United States.
