For several years, the Krakow prosecutor's office, the X-Files, has been trying to solve the disappearance of Iwona Wieczorek. The woman disappeared on the night of July 16-17, 2010, but despite the involvement of top investigators, it has so far not been possible to solve what happened in Gdańsk at that time.
The Lesser Polska branch of the State Prosecutor's Office took over the case five years ago. In July of this year, a new prosecutor, Mirosław Koziow, was appointed. Now, the daily Fact newspaper reports that the supervision of the investigation has been handed over to prosecutor Tomasz Boducci. He is, as has been highlighted, a prosecutor in several major cases. The paper even called him a “country star.”
However, investigative authorities have not disclosed at what stage the investigation is. – Based on information received from the Lesser Polska branch of the PZ PK, we would like to inform you that the prosecutor investigating the disappearance of Iwona Wieczorek has not at this stage consented to the transfer of information from the investigation – Prosecutor Katarzyna Karow-Jaszewska spoke in an interview with “Fakt'' of Emphasis PK.

In mid-June this year, police searching for Iwona Wieczorek received information that the driver of a white Fiat might be involved in the woman's disappearance.
“Anyone with information about him is asked to contact police,” police said.
As the statement read, “new clues have emerged in the missing persons case that may help explain the mysterious disappearance 14 years ago.”
“Police officers from the capital's Crime, Terrorism and Homicide Bureau, who are investigating the case, received information that the driver of a white Fiat Cinquecento may be involved in the woman's disappearance. The woman, who was 19 years old at the time, is known to have gone to a party at a club in Sopot with friends shortly after a barbecue at the resort. After leaving the disco building, she decided to return to her home in Gdańsk alone. Her friends last saw her around 2:50 a.m.
Iwona Wieczorek was recorded on several surveillance cameras. The last stop was on the promenade in Jelitkowo, Gdańsk, about 20 minutes from my home.
