EAGAN, Minnesota, USA and Damansara, Malaysia (•) July 2024 – Ironwood Electronics, Inc. (“Ironwood”), a leading innovator and manufacturer of high performance test contact solutions for global integrated circuit (“IC”) manufacturers, and JF Technology Berhad (“JFT”) (“Jie Feng Technology”), have announced the execution of a cross-sales agreement under which Ironwood will use JF's high performance contact pins (both cantilever and rigid) within its contact assembly cartridges and JFT will use Ironwood contact assembly cartridges (including Ironwood's new ATE-P contact assemblies for cantilever, rigid, and high performance BGA/LGA testing) within its test sockets.
Ironwood, a leader in benchtop lab and characterization test sockets, is pleased to bring high insertion count variants of its high performance test technology to the ATE (Automated Test Equipment) market. Working with JF Technology, the companies will be able to provide high performance BGA/LGA solutions and interchangeable cartridge contact assemblies to customers throughout Asia. Both companies will continue to sell their products worldwide but will now also have the rights to sell each other's products, with Ironwood focusing on the US and Europe and JF Technology focusing on Asia.
The two companies share extensive intellectual property, with Ironwood bringing highly proprietary laminated contact assemblies and JF Technology bringing high performance, high insertion count contact pins.
