The presidential election is fast approaching. According to a poll conducted by the Opinia24 center for TVN24, more than half of Poles consider security to be the most important election issue. In the WP “Tłit” program, the CO of the European Parliament Krzysztof Brezia was also asked what this campaign will be about. – I see what is happening in Georgia now, I see Russia's hybrid war, I see the Georgian nation that had European aspirations, and I see how easily the fire of populism can take control of the state, and these are the same methods that PiS used in Poland will be implemented, – answered the guest of the program. The host of the program drew attention to PiS candidate Karol Nawrocki, who is not a member of the party. “Perhaps it is possible to convince the voters that this person is outside of PiS, and in this way we can conduct an effective campaign,” the journalist asked. – Poles are smart, Poles saw the citizens of Macerewicz, Suski, Sasin, Morawiecki. Poles will not go to this theater, this nativity scene, this placing of camouflage nets in Nawrocki – said CO MEP. Brezhza stressed that the Civil Alliance “does its job” and they take this election and the PiS candidate seriously. He also quoted Violetta Paprocka, the Voivodship Advisor of Masovians, who drew attention to the similarity between the recent speeches of Trzaskovsky and Nawrocki. – This is a copycat campaign. Rafal Trzaskovsky goes to the people, Navrotsky goes on the road. Trzaskovsky goes to the bakery for a meeting, the PiS candidate does the same – noted Brezhza. The MP said that Nawrocki was copying Trzaskovsky “step by step”. – This is not a real campaign. Just as it was not his original speech. You cannot read from a network that you love Poland or you stand for values or I love your wife. Either it's in your heart or it's artificial. Kurski and Bielani, they cannot write everything to this man – said Brezhza.
