For one of the doctors, the Katowice District Medical Court ruled a penalty of suspending the right to practice for five years and two years for two years.
Information regarding the illegal court ruling was provided by the PAP by the representative of Izabela’s representative Jolanta Budzowska, confirmed on Monday by a spokesperson for Silesian Medical Chamber Alicja van der Coghen. Doctors can appeal to the Supreme Medical Court in Warsaw.
The criminal trials of the doctor have been held for several months before the courts of Pszczyna are held except for openness. Prosecutors accused them of exposing women at risk, one of which caused her death as unintentional. The deceased family believes that the doctors have long delayed the end of their pregnancy and contributed to the death of the 30-year-old.
