Polish defender Sebastian Walkiewicz, who plays in Turin, Italy, was hospitalized on Saturday. The Poland international fainted during a Serie A match and left the pitch on a stretcher. Apennine media said he was having trouble breathing but was still conscious and awake.
Turin's Sebastian Walkiewicz felt unwell in the 35th minute of a 2-0 win against Bologna in Italy's top league and was taken to hospital for tests.

The 24-year-old first crouched and then lay down on the pitch, but was immediately attended to by the Turin team's medical services and after initial tests at the stadium he was diagnosed with a minor injury.
According to media reports, the Polish footballer has been feeling unwell in recent days, with Sky reporting that he had the flu and was running a fever.
To explain the cause of his breathing difficulties, Walkiewicz also complained of a “stabbing pain in his side” and was taken to the hospital for further tests.

Karol Linetti played until 64 minutes for the host team. Bologna goalkeepers Łukasz Skorupski and Kaciper Urbanski watched the match from the bench.

He has represented Poland nine times, played five times for Michał Prowierc's side in the autumn, and joined Turin from Empoli in the summer for 5 million euros.
He has only been left out of the Bulls' starting eleven twice this season and has played over 1,000 minutes on the pitch in Serie A and over 45 minutes in the Coppa Italia.
The former soccer player played a total of 93 games in Italy's top league for Pogon Szczecin and Cagliari.
