The woman stumbled and suspended Renaissance photos at one of the Italian museums. This work has recently returned from the maintenance process. The facility estimated losses of thousands of euros.
On a Friday evening, it turned out to be unlucky for a woman visiting the St. Julia Museum in Brescia. While watching the painting, she stumbled and hurt the work of Renaissance painter Morett.
The woman lost her balance and fell over and placed her hand on the canvas. Luckily, nothing happened to her. These are things that can happen, especially since exhibitions are so popular today – said Ansa Stefano Carajov, director of the Museum Foundation in Brescia.

After renovation, the work returned to the museum in mid-October last year. “We intervened quickly to ensure safety and our parents arrived quickly,” explained Stefano Karajov in an interview with ANSA. The monument was not exposed to glass that could protect it.

– The damage can be completely repaired as the incision is clean and the paint surface was not lost without a shot – Karajov was guaranteed. He assessed the damage for thousands of euros. The amount is provided by insurance.

The damaged work is a banner made up of two different canvas and is placed nearby. One of them was dominated by the image of Mary, while the other depicted the prophets of Hennock and Elijah. This was the part that was damaged.
The banner was probably used by religious brotherhood. The artist drew it on 1522-1524.
