Japanese pop duo YOASOBI will kick off their Asia tour with performances at Incheon Inspire Arena on December 7th and 8th, according to concert organizers Rivet.
The concert will be the duo's first solo performance in Korea since performing at Hwajeong Tiger Dome in Seongbuk-gu, central Seoul, in December last year.
After their Korea performance, the duo will perform in Hong Kong on December 26th and 27th, Bangkok on January 25th and 26th, Taipei on February 8th and 9th, Singapore on February 22nd and 23rd, and Jakarta on February 26th and 27th.
Tickets for the Korean performance will go on sale online at Melon Ticket and Ticket Link from 8 p.m. on September 6th.
YOASOBI debuted in Japan in 2019 and consists of vocalist Ikura and producer Ayase. The duo gained widespread popularity in Japan with their debut song “Into The Night” (2019) and their first EP “The Book” released in 2021.
The duo rose to global fame with their song “Idol,” the opening theme to the Japanese anime “Oshi no Ko” in 2023. The song and its associated challenge went viral on TikTok in both Japan and South Korea, with the song's popularity growing even more after several K-pop artists joined the “My Favorite Idol” challenge.
