The reason why Jenna Ortega can't be found on X/Twitter is simple… AI-generated sexualized images of herself have led her to flee the social media platform and develop an aversion to technology.
Jenna, now 21, says the visual attacks began several years ago, when she was a teenager and that she started on Twitter to boost her profile as an actress, but it quickly became a nightmare.
She said on The Interview podcast: “I hate AI. Would I have liked to be 14 and create a Twitter account because I had to, and then see salacious edited content of myself as a child? No. It's horrifying. It's corrupting. It's wrong.”
As if that wasn't enough, the “Beetlejuice” star said he opened his first direct message at age 12, receiving “an unsolicited photo of a man's genitals, and that was just the beginning of what was to come.”

Donald Trump posts fake AI photo of Taylor Swift endorsing him as a presidential candidate
Jenna's complaints about artificial intelligence are becoming more commonplace: Earlier this year, Taylor Swift had to deal with a barrage of AI-generated pornographic images of herself, which she eventually had removed from X.
And, while it wasn't exactly NSFW, Donald Trump reposted a new AI photo of Taylor last week, making it seem like she was endorsing his presidential campaign.
Jenna said she received so many inappropriate images every time she tweeted that she woke up one morning and thought, “I don't need this anymore. So I quit.”
She hasn't looked back. She's still not on the podium. And that's probably a good thing. Things are only getting worse.
